vidas. All is = Planeta Tierra.
Tonight, literally millions
of children will go to bed hungry. Some of them will plead for food, not
able to understand that their moms and dads simply have nothing to give them. Others — the little ones — will just cry
with empty bellies. And some will be too weak to even cry.Maybe you can imagine
watching your own child hurting, dying — and being unable to help. It's any
parent's nightmare.
(Sebastiao
Salgado was one of the photographers with compromise that spent many time
covering the hunger in Sahel)

The Valley

Americans
are strange people. Regardless of national origin, they seem driven by a
combination of competition and insecurity. “Ah-nold” Schwarzenegger, from
playing Predator, Terminator and Conan the Barbarian, has now become governor
of California. They believe in “keeping up with the Joneses”. They worry that
someone else is “getting more” – more money or more sex. This combination
of envy and sexuality is one of the main drivers of the American Dream. For
Larry Sultan, this nexus is most strongly manifest in the San Fernando Valley,
the centre of the pornography industry, just north of Los Angeles off the
405. Here, in the most representative site of the American Dream, the doctors
and dentists of “the Valley” rent out their suburban homes to the porn industry
for use as sets in sex movies.

I said to put one little order in its things, she gets angry. She leaves the

Acerca
de las fotos encontradas
¿Recuerdan haber
roto, quemado o tirado fotos?

Elena's latest project, the Serpent's Wall. A fascinating look at Kiev's history
of defending itself with the aid of a wall built most likely during the early
11th century at the request of King Yaroslav(he built upon the fortification
work begun under the reign of Volodymyr Svyatoslavovich in the late 10th
century).
