| Yugoslavia war In 30th of august of 1991. The serbians tanks entry in the Zagreb airport. I arrived to Belgrad where I knew to Julio Fuentes [he was killed in Afganistan war years later] my master in the war. Together we travelling around the killing fields of Vukovar and Osijek, sharing the journeys, the fear and the shelter times . Many journalists went to this war to tell the true. Many of them was killed, lookin for the true, the same of women, children and other innocent humans. |

| In june of 1991 all newspapers and media announced a war in Yugoslavia. I arrived to Belgrad in august on assignment for a galician newspaper. There I found to Julio Fuentes, journalist of El Mundo. Together we travel around the killing fields of Croatia. |

Games Without
understand too much the war, the young professional soldiers trained to
go to the real war. Many of them are in the Army because need a job and
get mobey for their families, or not, only beacuse likes the army.
Before go to the battle ground they received a special trainning and
what they can survive in the middle of a forest, or use the knife to
kill the enemy. Girls and boys, together think that the war are a stupid think but in other case they said that all countries need a army. This pictures was taken in Parga, near Lugo, in Galicia, northwestern Spain. |
| The Killing fields. In the picture of left a woman cry during a funeral in Pradanska Slatina where was killed old people in th a small village called Cetekovca. "The chetniks arrive in the morning early" said a old surviver, "and then they was killing one by one in cutting the heads with a knife or shoting outside homes. It was terrible and I was hide inside the shit of my pigs for one day". In center picture, photojournalist shooting to a woman that lost all family in a granate explosion in Sarajevo. Righ picture, a truck with the bodies killed of soldiers and old women. |
| The world forgot Yugoslavia name. Doctors in a cirurgy season in old hospital of Mostar. "The world forget us" told me a doctor one morning while he was trying to save a leg of a man. Medicins, food, and other helps can not entry in Mostar because the Serbians and fascists croats was bombing all the time the roads and killed everybody that try to help them. |
